Bicycle History

Being a member of many vintage cycling clubs Bruce is most conversant with events and personalities in the vintage cycling world. He is a strong supporter of the National Penny Farthing Championships in Evandale Tasmania, and for a period of eight successive years his designs have been selected for the race medals.

Street parades and community festivals totally engage Bruce's penny farthing cycling skills since the nature of pure street theatre and engagement with people of all ages, shapes and sizes is what he really revels in.

For many years he has visited schools to present his acclaimed "Riding Through Time" program, an educationally informative program of high entertainment value for kids of all ages.
